Background & Purpose
Berikan Protein Initiative is a non-profit movement that focuses on improving nutrition and eradicating fish-based malnutrition in Indonesia.
This is one of the projects I worked on while being a UI/UX Designer Intern at Berikan Protein. The project produced good results, such as 36,000 website visitors in March - April 2022.
Problem
Previously, Berikan Protein's company profile website was considered unsatisfactory; many things needed to be improved, and much information needed to be added or updated.
This online campaign, which takes the form of a website, is important for Berikan Protein because it is the main weapon for achieving the movement's vision as a whole and attracting new collaboration opportunities.
User Research
For this project, I conducted direct interviews and focus group discussions with Berikan Protein's owners and management to understand the client's desires for the website they wanted.
The user research results revealed that several essential sections were needed on the website, and the user wanted a fresh website impression with a marine nuance and an empowering spirit.
Sitemap
From the insights obtained at the User Research stage, a Sitemap was created that explained that this website needed seven pages: Home, About Us, What We Do, Get Involved, Our Impact, Donate, and Choose Language section.
The information is further broken down from the seven pages into around 30 sub-pages, such as Be Our Volunteer in the Get Involved section and Legal Entities in the About Us section.

Based on time considerations and client approval, the wireframing stage was skipped and went directly to the Hi-Fi Design & Prototype stage, which required around 24 UI Design pages in desktop view.
The blue color palette was chosen to represent the Berikan Protein logo and the fresh-trusted movement, which carries the empowerment of Protein from fish.

Development & Testing
The developer team developed a company profile website using WordPress based on the planned Hi-Fi Design and Prototype.
